    In 1989 Rolex presented the Explorer II Ref. 16570 which inherited many of the changes already made on the reference 16550 and was equipped with calibre 3185.
    The dial could be white or black. In the case of the white dial, the indices and hands were no longer silvered as on the reference 16550, but black.
    Thus increasing contrast and improving visibility.

    Testifying to the great versatility of this model and its robustness, the reference 16570 was in production until 2011.
    Over 20 years of service in which only minor technical improvements and aesthetic details were made.
    Firstly, the tritium luminescent material, which has been replaced by Super Luminova due to the small radioactivity present in that material. Thus we have the change of the inscription at 6 o’clock from SWISS – T < 25 to SWISS (transitional) to SWISS MADE post 1998 – 1999.

    All of our pre-owned watches are checked and certified
    in our in-house workshop authorized to service several brands
    Our watches are equipped with running and water resistance tests,
    we issue a declaration of sale on authenticity, provenance and 24 months warranty on operation.
    We attach receipt or invoice on request.
