Description
Rolex Explorer II 16570,
features a 40 mm steel case, a steel bezel and a satin-finished steel Oyster bracelet with Fliplock clasp.
This model features a Rolex manufacture mechanical self-winding movement caliber 3186, with GMT function and date window at 3 o’clock, and a black dial.

In 1989 Rolex introduced the Explorer II Ref. 16570, which inherited many of the changes already made on the reference 16550 and was equipped with caliber 3185 (until 2007).
The dial could be white or black. In the case of the white dial, the hour markers and hands were no longer silvered as on the reference 16550, but black in color.
Thus increasing contrast and improving visibility.
As a testament to this model’s great versatility and robustness, the reference 16570 was in production until 2011.
Over 20 years of service in which only minor technical improvements and aesthetic details were made.
First, the tritium luminescent material, which was replaced by Super Luminova because of the small radioactivity present in that material.
Thus we will have the change of the inscription at 6 o’clock from SWISS – T < 25 to SWISS (transitional) to SWISS MADE post 1998 – 1999.
All our used watches are inspected and certified.
Our in-house workshop is authorized to service various brands.
Our watches have running and water-resistance tests,
we issue statement of sale on authenticity, provenance and 24-month warranty on function.
