History of the Rolex Daytona:
Rolex chronographs were born around the 1930s and immediately found great success and over time underwent some important evolutions.
Specifically in 1963 some of the most sought-after models were designed: the Cosmograph Daytona.
Determining features included the Oyster case, distinguished by a screw-locked case back and crown and pump pushers.
In 1976 the pump pushers were replaced by screw-down pushers, and in 1988 there were two fundamental changes.
Important technical changes were also implemented with the water-resistance guarantee being increased to 10 atmospheres.
